The video is 7 minutes, but well worth the time.

A UK talent show has unearthed a woman to rival opera star-from-nowhere Paul Potts - a 48-year-old Scottish virgin.

Susan Boyle - who admits she has "never been kissed" - is being dubbed Paula Potts after a stunning audition on Britain's Got Talent.

The Sun said Boyle wowed judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan with her version of I Dream a Dream from the musical Les Miserables.

The apparently unremarkable woman from Scotland was mocked by the television audience when she initially took the stage, telling the judges she wanted to be a singing star.

I stumbled upon it yesterday and watched it at least dozen times. I want her to win, in spite of all those talentless Paris Hilton wannabees that will undoubtedly flood the show.

What a fabulous talent that lady has been given. It helps to destroy stereotypes and is such a pleasure to listen to.
Best of luck to her in this contest.

At first I thought that it might have been some kind of 'video scam' but the UK press has covered this inside-out. She's from a dreary little town on the Glasgow side of Edinburgh.

Besides the voice, I give her credit for having the guts to stand up there and perform.

Awesome... it is what is on the inside that is important. This woman has golden vocal chords and apparently a heart of gold as well. There is someone who is meant for her out there... now they may find each other.

This is something I've never understood about live audiences. Here is this woman with an amazing voice, singing beautifully, and the crowd is yelling and screaming and clapping AND DROWNING HER OUT.

Shut up, sit there and enjoy, and then scream and yell and clap. As good as she sounded, just think how much better it would have been if you could have heard all of it.
