I hold you responsible. I just placed an order for a new 40 Shield. $442 shipped to my FFL and then ordered a couple of 7rd mags from S&W and a couple more 40c mags.

I had been eyeing them for a while, just wasn't going to pay inflated exorbitant prices the gougers wanted.

I saw a post on a wider notched rear sight and maybe a XS Big Dot in the front? Sound familiar?

What IWB holster are you guys using?

Crossbreed Mini-tuck is what I use. Problem with Crossbreed, you order it today, you will get it in four months.

+1 on Old Faithful IWB for the Shield. Comfortable for CCW in hot and even humid weather. They are also fairly quick from order to delivery.

I have an old faithful for my m&p9 FS and like it very much, but for the Shield I purchased a foxx hybrid. It has a better warranty than the old faithful (foxx is a lifetime warranty) and I found the foxx to have great construction as well. The price is great and I received it within a few days of the order being placed.

Pocket holster for the Shield. If you are going to wear a belt holster, use IWB and get a full size M&P as barrel length will be inside your pants and not an issue.

My Shield is just a bit too bit for pocket carry. I've done pocket carry with my S&W 642 for years, with a Mika holster. I was disappointed the Shield is just a tad too big. Oh, it will fit, but would be hard pressed to remove it in a panic situation

That's my experience given the size pants I wear. On the flip side, tightly held in my pocket can't be much worse than compared to worn on my ankle.

Also have a Sticky MD-2

I really prefer my DeSantis Nemesis over my Sticky.

I had Ray at Lobo Gun Leather make me a fantastic holster.
He's a member here and does excellent work. It's much more comfortable than a hybrid Kydex holster!
The price is right and the wait time is short. He says it may take 6 or 7 weeks, but I've been getting mine in 4. ;)

I front pocket carry my Shield in a Desantis Super Fly without the flap. Some of my short's pockets aren't quite as deep as I'd like them, but the gun carries very well. My PM9 carries better, but I like them equally as well.

I have the sticky and its similar. My friend has a remora for his Kahr I love this style holster its so comfy and easy to draw

I have the sticky too and love it. Simple, cheap and works like a charm!

Ordered one of these for my XDs9. He makes them for the Shield and most all M&P's as well. 49.00 including priority shipping. Four weeks out now.

Mine should be here Wednesday. They have a felt backing for comfort plus a thin rubber layer to keep sweat off and of course the normal leather and kydex.

Check out Celtic Holsters. I use the Wee holster for my shield. $45.00 and less than a week.
