At the core of the issue (in some of our minds) is our (and yours, too) rights and personal liberty.

We are approaching 70,000 deaths in the US already. If your
rights and liberty are fully restored that number will likely
double by the end of the year. I'd bet the 70,000 that are no
longer enjoying rights and liberty would have a few words to
say about PARTIAL restrictions if they could but they can't.

I'm with you. Lock it down forever. No reason to be spreading colds and such around after this one is gone. Think of how much safer we'll be. And no more solid food. Someone might choke.

I will take my liberty and my chances with this disease over more government power any day of the week. You will recognize me too, because I am the guy at the grocery store without a mask on, getting dirty looks from people who watch too much news.

As fun as it would be to blast them out of the sky in an impressive fountain of disintegrated chicom parts and pieces, I think I'm going to opt for the stealthy pellet gun from cover. If they go a ways and crash, they'll never figure out who is doing it.
