That's another good choice. Forgot to list it because when I was posting I forgot I had one! Not a 39-2 but a 39. A great gun.

For me there is no such thing as a "favorite firearm", if there was I'd own only one.

I too like the "ties" comment.

2. Sentimental Favorite-Browning HP 9MM-first handgun
3. Favorite S&W-either my 4" M-57 or my nickeled 4" M-27.

Being an S&W forum, a like branded gun should be appropriate, let's see:
1. S&W M29, 4 or 6 inch
2. M57, same barrel lengths
3. M1006 10mm auto

But if I may - forgive me - my Glock 20, in which I currently have a Lone Wolf conversion barrel in .40 S&W, so I have a choice of calibers.

I love them all but the 5" Kimber .45 ACP is my constant companion. It almost aims itself. I'm trying to get clearance to take it with me when I die.

In the City: Kimber CDP II 4" bbl, with 2 extra mags

The Woods: S-W 686-4 Mountan Gun 6+ 1

Picnic Gun: Colt SAA first gen, converted to smokeless and .41 Colt in the 60's. Yes I know it's ruined, no I did not do it, but it's a great looking gun....
