YouTube : Gatekeeper

Going back as recently a couple of years YT and G started this selection process of recommending or providing similar content to a previously viewed genre. Not caring for how this process was making decisions and selections for me I decided to log out of YT and view content without being Au’paired. Worked good, until Google started to work in concert with YT and being logged off of YT was defeated. Every time another updated takes place the gatekeepers keep reducing available content or adding additional filters to control what is available, case in point like to hit the YT, News button but this morning clicking that button gives zero results. Anyone else noticing these subtle changes?

^This. My browser is set to clear everything when it is shutdown, and that happens almost every night. Yes, it means you have to log in to various things when you restart your computer (yes, computers and phones have off switches), but I fell the benefits of flushing all the junk is worth it in speed, accessing what I want and basic computer security.
