Youtube users....help!

When I view a video, comments don't appear. Neither can I make any. I've looked for help and I gather that other people are having this problem. I looked on Youtube and Google for a fix, and there is a lot there. But it either doesn't work, pertains only to comments on your channel or is indecipherable and impossible to follow. What they've got never looks like what I"ve got.

Does anybody know how to fix this????

First things first, are you on a PC or mobile, and what web browser are you using?

Have you tried a different browser?

I think if you are signed in to google you should be able to comment or see comments.

The comment section can be disabled by the person that runs the channel.

Firefox, Chrome, Epic and INTERNET EXPLORER....

On my PC. I haven't checked the other PCs but I found that Internet Explorer showed Youtube comments no problem.

Now if I can just figure out why the comments section on CBS won't appear, aside for the quality and content of their new.

Yeah, I've been doing it forever......

You do need to be a YouTube member to leave comments.

Just the last few months Youtube had changed formats as well as an update from Firefox. It seems that everybody is changing something this year that makes other stuff quit working.

Man, I forgot what I did....

I fixed Youtube a ways back and I've been leaving comments but I can't remember exactly what I did. It had something to do with the 'log in' I think. I'm always logged in but something in all those changed nixed something.
