He was in the right lane, doing about 4 mph when aprehended.

The black-and-white striped animal was spotted all over town -- in the parking lot near the Richard B. Russell Federal Building, near Centennial Olympic Park, CNN and on the Downtown Connector. He was finally captured on the interstate near the Grady curve. According to witnesses, he was galloping between lanes of traffic on the Downtown Connector before his capture.

Circus musst be in town.

Well, there was the time that an elephant escaped from a traveling circus in the South. He disappeared in the woods and, even though they searched for him, they couldn't find him. The circus moved on.
So did the elephant. Years later he showed up in an old woman's garden, eating her vegetables. The old woman's eyesight wasn't all that good.
She called the police. She told the officer on the phone, "There's a big grey funny-looking creature in my garden, and he's pulling up my cabbages with his tail".
The officer asked, "He's pulling up your cabbages with his tail? What does he do with them then?
"Sonny, if I told you, you wouldn't believe it".

We caught 'im.
Anyone have a zebra recipe?

And there are those that laugh at S&WChad an me for having elephant guns...they work equally well on zebra on those zoo escapes.

Cheers,
Sam

The pics show a very good looking animal. He appears well taken care of. Wonder what made him leave?

P.T. Barnhams people wouldn't be out for free publicity, now would they ?

The story went around in Atlanta back in the early seventies about a less-than-illustrious Director of Public Safety who saw a monkey beside the road one morning. Supposedly he had his driver radio City Hall for instructions. They told him to catch the monkey and take it to the zoo. Several hours later the Director had not shown up for work. When they were finally able to get him on the radio, they asked where he had been. "Well," he replied, "the monkey enjoyed the zoo so much we decided to take him to Six Flags. We still don't know what to do with him, though." Like George Washington and the Cherry Tree, this story may be apocryphal.;)

Problem solved!
