"The subtle Art of Not Giving a ****" by Mark Manson. this should be in everyone's library along with "The Art of War" ,the 4th edition of the S&W book by Supica and Nash, Lonesome Dove and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
It's basic premise is that life is NOT FAIR and the sooner you realize it and accept it the happier you will be-Give a **** about what matters and don't give a **** about what doesn't. You will soon find out that most of the stuff doesn't matter.

It would be a terrific text book for a philosophy class.
