Combat Revolver Heaven ** Family Shot ** MORE PICS AT BOTTOM!!

But it would fit right in with its cousins just Fine. Just think how much fun it would have talking about its 7 Shot Capability an sticking it's tongue out at the others.

Well here it is talking and sticking it's tongue out. :)

I tried to dress it up for the photo by putting some nice wood combats on it...but it just doesn't seem right to me.

Looks more like a working gun and the rubber bantams are just about perfect. :)

This is the best "short" story that I have read in a while! The photos are outstanding!

My combat Guns

Ok- I'm Gonna play!!!

Here are mine
They dont have to be stainless
They dont have to be pretty
They dont need furniture grade wood grips
They dont pose together for group shots

They have to shoot well, carry well, most of all a "working gun"!

The original thread starter's pieces are all in their sunday bests and look great while mine look like something out of the misfits in "Bad News Bears" or the "Dirty Dozen"!!

Early postwar 5 screw pre model 10 in 38 special ,just like Mannix had!!
this 5 screw shoots exactly to the sights and lockup is great.
Has enough blue wear to give it character!!

29-10, internal locked 3 inch 29 with the full blown $1000 magnaport treatment. shoots like a house on fire!! Accurate with controlleable recoil due to its quadporting.

28-2 reamed out to 45 Colt by Cogan(APW) He is a master smith. He has saved my bacon on guns that others couldnt fix.
Then he hard chromed it,recut forcing cone angle and round butted it.Now wearing really nice Culina combats

Fellow forum member Guskody got this one to me. What a beautiful 29-3 hard chromed and engraved. You cant hurt this one!! Just love it!!

1917 Snub from our beloved jjbrewst1
Ugly but Deadly!!

This 386 is a favorite of mine-nite sights, magnaported, raised ramp front sight, moonclipped-357's feels like wadcutters
carries sooo nicely!!

681pc quadported, 3 inch 357

3 inch 65-3 quadported,express sights,Sokol bobbed hammer,action job, speed cylinder release-great carry piece

24 ounce 4 inch 327 N frame, fibre optic sight, 8 shot capacity.
What a pleasure to carry. Simulated coke bottle grip round to square design-looks great!!
These Coke bottle simulated grips are
available from Eagle grips. Model is called Heritage.

25-2 hardchromed Jovino, also magnaported, nice 45 acp snub

66-4, quadported, interchangeable front sight system like the DX classic- this is really a sweet shooter!!

66-3 3 inch, this piece is all business!!

The best comes last!!! reblued RM -probably Kansas City PD gun, 4 inch, shoots really well.Love old school working guns!!
This one gets carried and shot

Thank You. Refreshing and SWEET. I forgot about the custom engraved little sweetheart.

Thank you for sharing. My favorite is the 45 LC 28-2.

More Fighting Handguns

Square Butt 624 that was sent back to Smith for a barrel swap
There were no pre lock magnums or N Frames in square butt 2inch, 2 1/2 or 3 inch that I know of

66-2 ex ATF pistol

629-3 fixed sighted carry comp PC offering from around 1993

19-7, performance center offering

29-2 as customized by master smith Austin Behlert. He took a square butt 29 and chopped it into a carry package!!

13-4 perf center offfering

586-3 in 3 inch full lug, a hard to find example.

pre 29, 4 screw that someone shortened the barrel to 3 3/4

686, square butt , 2 1/2 in barrel

629-1 jovino effector, a square butted longer barreled gun that Jovino shortened before smith and wesson did

629 special order by Camfour. This is the shortest barrel length. 2 5/8 in fixed sight that was ever done on a 629

29-3 that was sent back to factory for a barrel swap so its now a 3 inch pre lock square butt

Well let's add another one to the pile. Thanks Haris. The Cogan Customization threw me over the Edge.

Jim, this one and the Alaskan (Backpacker?) really rev my engine. I should have never let my unfluted 3" 629-5 go but you helped me replace it with one so much better, and without the finish rubbed off ;) One of the 3" 45 Colt 625's will reside in my safe someday down the road.
