Yes, you read that correctly. Technically called the Corelo, it is described as a “quadruped” with room for two humans and driven by AI decision-making. It has four legs and a horse-like torso, but no head, together offering an aesthetic generally associated with fever-dream nightmares...

...we could see it being useful for getting around walkable urban areas, or being handy for ranchers checking those fences on the back forty. At least it doesn’t eat any hay.
[:eek::eek: ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!]

Details are understandably scarce, and Kawasaki says any sort of production variant is not expected to show up until the 2050 calendar year, or even later.

Best I can tell, all the videos of this thing are AI generated based on a concept, rather than any kind of working prototype. Projected production isn't for another 25 years.

Agreed. That doesn't look real.

I'm an offroad motorcycle guy that has ridden plenty of horses, but THAT is too friggin weird for me.
I'd just ride moto or get an actual real horse. What happens when your li-ion battery goes buh bye up high in the cold?

Take a rest and give it a drink? Nope.

True, it wouldn't eat or have to have it's stall cleaned or pasture fences maintained, but there are downsides. I expect the tech support folks would cost at least as much as the vet, then there's parts. I expect you'd be able to buy a herd for what one of those things is gonna cost. And, I don't see it being affectionate.

I saw that article, looks like when they used to say every household would be flying around like the Jetsons, but hey who knows. Might come to pass. In 25 years, I would be 88 and would prefer an easily manipulated exo-skeleton.

I have this picture of the rider dressed like Iron Man riding one of these down the freeway at a 60 mph gallop.

I also have this picture of the lone Highway Patrolman as it runs past him.

I can imagine the thousands of thoughts running through that Trooper's head when that occurs.
