My father passed away 3 days ago.....
He left me a Model 629-1 with 8" (or 8 3/8"??) and a scope mount/scope mounted.

The scope is a cheapo Tasco... but I'll be asking many questions here about potential Red Dot or better scopes to mount.

I'll start a thread after I get pics and fiddle with it a bit.

What Model29 said above, “keep them all”. Really good advice right there. You will miss them when they are gone. Those are high quality firearms in very good condition. Not easily replaced.

It is a no dash that has been Mag-Na-Ported.

I like it, the gun is set up to be a shooter

A lot of factory targets got left on the glass as the new owners screwed a set of pachmayr’s on, I’ve only got one set left :D
