Since I was in the area for the NRA meeting in Atlanta, I paid Olof a visit at Deer Hollow Enterprises in Tennessee to check out his operation and to pick up a set of late 3rd gen grips and a set of service stocks. Both works of art. Thanks Olof!!!

Olof is a good dude. I've become decent friends with him over on the Colt forum albeit I never met the guy in person.

His reproduction stocks for the Colts are hands down the best on the market. In fact, Colt should've contracted with him for all the new Python stocks IMO, not just the specialty ones. I assisted with some detail help when he was beginning operations & have a few pairs of stocks he sent me from the trial phases.

He does the best hands down! Not only that, but for what you get, the price is fairly reasonable. CH4, your post made me chuckle a little bit. I don’t travel much anymore. How was Olof’s operation?

I agree. I now have 4-5 sets. Great product at great value. His operation is simple and efficient. Can’t wait to get home and put em on a blue1981 6” that’s current wearing a set of Herretts.

Olof sets up much of his work on machines... I know because I've frequently asked him to make me S&W goodies to which he always retorts "are you going to buy enough to make it worthwhile to setup the machine?" LOL but as everyone mentioned great guy and makes great grips. (Stocks)

Tell him that you probably won’t by yourself, but when he does the same quality work and prices for vintage S&W grips, he will have to increase in workforce for sure!

He would sell “Coke” grips by the truckload alone!
