Curious what holster and where most are using to carry the Lipsey Ultimate Carry J frames? Front pocket, back pocket, IWB? Kydex, leather, other?
Seriously considering picking up a 432UC in 32 H&R Magnum. 1 extra round over the .38 special and almost half the recoil. Intriguing.

6 shots in a DeSantis pocket holster and you can't go wrong. The UC series truly are magnificent guns, especially in 32.

Good luck with it. Hopefully you get one without defects. After you fix the trigger pull, get rid of the hideous, oversized and counter-productive VZ grips.

Second, sort through J frame holsters to find something that will accommodate the ridiculous spinnaker front sight and built-up rear sight without jamming the revolver in the holster making it difficult to remove. I was able to modify, with judicious forming, this Lobo IWB J frame holster. Also, late production DeSantis Slim-Tuk IWB will fit.

There are better more snag-free choices for pocket carry, but if you insist, leather is going to be tight, kydex is going to be bulky, and nylon tends to snag on the front sight. To me, it's an IWB gun.

432-UC with the terrific AFR pocket holster. When I’m carrying as a BUG I carry in my right front pocket. As a primary, I have a LH AFR.
I replaced the VZ grips with the brand new Hamre Forge grips which are excellent.

Mika front pocket holster for my 432. Changed the grips to the boot grips that are standard on the regular 442. Sometimes use a crossdraw that I had made locally for a 442.

I carry my 432 every day in my front pocket in either a Desantis or Mika pocket holster depending upon what pants I'm wearing. I've been thrilled with mine.

I ditched the grips as well.
Here's my 432UC in a very old Brauer Bros. IWB holster. It's such a pleasure to shoot.

Here's my recommendation to the OP: Examine a new S&W carefully before you purchase. Check it's timing, carry up, lock up and yoke/frame gap, etc.). Check that the front sight glows, and that the barrel isn't canted.

If you find one devoid of any issues, .32 mag is perfect for a J-frame, IMHO.

That would be wonderful except unless I want to pay $100 extra, I was planning on an online purchase. Cabelas is about the only place local to me that has the gun in stock, and their prices are legendary. Everyone else would need to order it.

You may get a perfect one, we never hear complaints about those. For $100, I'd take the chance.

You'll have to contact S&W to resolve any issues if your gun has any.
My dealings with them went well. They promptly replaced my unfired 432UC the first time out.
Mine had a huge yoke/frame gap and it was difficult to open and close the cylinder. I bought it online.

Enjoy it, you'll most likely think: "why did I wait so long to get a .32 J-frame".

If you will settle for a 642UC, Birmingham Pistol Wholesale has them. I’ve bought from them recently, and no tax.

I have had the 432UC for some time. I have had a 642, a 337, a 640 and have a 649-2. I think that the Lipsey's offerings in both the .32mag and the .38sp are the best J frames available today. The only negative of the .32mag is the cost of defensive ammo which is about a buck a round if you don't reload your own.
