I only need one single stack 9mm deep concealment carry pistol. As much as I like the Sig P938, I always reach for the Glock 43 because I find it easier to carry. Goodbye Sig P938. Hello Mossberg MVP Varmint 5.56.

I've never spent much time with bolt action rifles. I used to own a Ruger American Compact .308, but never enjoyed it or shot it often. I'm not a hunter. I'm a novice bolt action paper puncher. I have no tactical sniper delusions. The MVP is chambered in 5.56 and accepts AR mags, of which I already have plenty. I'm not hiking overland. I'm at a bench. The weight of the MPV Varmint isn't an issue. The MVP should be the right rifle for what I need to do: enjoy the frustration of learning what I don't know.

My shooting buddy has one and I have the short one. Neat rifles and accurate. I had to barely tweak my bolt cocking lug w a stone for faster bolt work, but i like them a lot. And that's coming from a m700 type fella.
