Mostly I carry knives with blades of less than three inch length. I do not think there is one in the attached photo with a > 2 1/2" blade length. I like little knives. Show us the little utilitarian knife you carry when your big knife is locked in the safe.

Two snubbies.:D

While pic one is good for the barbecue my EDC knife is the "Kamp King" made by Imperial. My father gave me this knife when I was 5 years old back in 1962. Still solid and tight. I keep a good edge on it. Probably cost $1.98 back then. 55 years later, to me, worth a million.

My EDC is a SOG trident that's going on close to 13 years carried daily. It's done everything from open 50lb bags of salt to gutting and quartering a deer. It's also been known to be used as a flat head screwdriver on the back of the blade sometimes also. However I will be using my Edmund Davidson knife this coming hunting season.

Here's my little ones. i don't generally carry them; my EDC is a SAK Tinker, for the tools it has in addition to the blades.

My modest array of peanuts, two Case, one Frost and a Rough Rider. The yellow delrin with CV blades gets the most carry. 2 7/8" closed, with a 2" main blade. All the knife I will ever need most days, and a peanut made it past the metal detector at Target Field the other night.

Most of the knives I carry are in the neighborhood of 3 1/2" closed, with blades under 3".

This is one of those dirty little secrets of knives. While I'll take a back seat to nobody when it comes to admiring a well crafted blade, 99% of my needs can be met with a SAK huntsman (I actually prefer to carry the Tinkerr because it's thinner). I'm a bird hunter and clean all my birds with a SAK and a pair of shears. Fishing is easy-I always have a couple of Dexter 7" flexible filet knives on the boat. That's pretty much it. I own lots of knives, like the Myerchin rigging knives ( a beautiful thing) and the Myerchin survival-dive knife but these to tell the honest unvarnished truth rarely get used because I always have my swiss army knife
BUt don't get me wring-If I see something that looks cool and rings my bell, I'll probably buy it  But I make my money inside wearing suits and belt knives really don't go well with seersucker :D
