Gen 2 Glocks,stock..are one of the most reliable and rugged handguns ever made.I like Gen 3s just as much. Haven't found a stock Glock I didn't like, actually. People call them ugly tupperware..but they sure can cook!!

Did the same to my Glock 23 .. actually my favorite Glock of the bunch .. it was inexpensive to do the conversion and fun. I expected it to be just a range gun but it is 100% reliable with the conversion.

I never liked that U notch. Always bothered me when shooting.

On the grip? I actually like it because if you have an older non-drop free mag or a mag that was stuck you can get a better grip on the mag to pull it out

It bothers me from the standpoint that I feel like something is missing and it keeps drawing my attention when shooting. Distracting!

If that happens I'll start buying new glocks instead of used
Lol. I buy used but only because to me a Glock is a Glock is a Glock so why spend $550 on a new one when I can save $200 and get a used one. Finger grooves don't bother me.

The gen 5 is supposed to be smooth grip with ambi controls. It's actually the FBI gun now and supposed to hit the market soon. As far as I know it's only the 17 but that because the only articles I've read were on the FBI and they use 17.

I have a Gen 3 G23 also that I have run countless rounds through over the years. The finger grooves don't fit everyone but, they work fine for me.

Congrats, can never have too many Glock 23s. I ccw'd my Gen2 23 for 10 years (and it shows) before I retired it from service and it is still a favorite handgun.

One of my buddies who is still in the Bureau just got his new pistol, and it is a 19M, FDE. He loves it.

Cool! So there are 19s! I figured there would be, it's one of the most popular Glocks but not seeing the articles I didn't want to speculate
