I really like .32 caliber revolvers (please save the "why .327" comments). Have a GP 100 in .327 in 4.2" stainless, this is a great sized gun for this caliber. Then of course Lipsey's comes out with their version 5" blued half lug. Well you addicts know the rest of the story. Picked it up yesterday, out to the range for a shakedown tomorrow.

That would go good with a blued security six?

Why 327? I hate to add another caliber but,,,,,,maybe.

glenncal1, that is the exact gun that I want right now, especially since it shoots .32 short up to .327 magnum, and I hear they don't beat the heck out of you because of the weight of the gun. Only problem: that woman that lives here with me (the wife, love of my life!) says no more guns until I get rid of some! I suppose I could trade in one of my inexpensive SAA replicas for the Lipsey Ruger .327; heck, a revolver is a revolver to her...even trade! Please let us know how it shoots and how you like it so I can get even MORE jealous! Nice gun you have there! Peace, Jeff T., PGH

I have one in 357, and did the action
job on it so its quite buttery and very comfortable to shoot.
It's been feed nothing but magnum rounds (650) heh.
Accuracy has been exc so im very pleased with this one

Thats the best looking Ruger DA revolver I have ever seen. If they would change the hammer (which looks like it was made in a prison machine shop) I would probably buy several in different calibers.

Got to the range yesterday it was a little cold and windy. The gun shot great good trigger. Didn't do any serious accuracy testin because of weather conditions but when I did my job the gun did it's job.

So I have to admit, while I'm a "died in the wool" S&W revolver guy, I've toyed with the idea or getting a .32 caliber revolver to help shoot up some of the hundreds of rounds of WC ammo I have left over from my model 16 days. ( That gun was sold long ago when it's value sky rocketed and I needed the money for family. ). I do like the GP 100 platform (when tuned) and was thinking this might be low cost way to get back in the 32 game.
So, what kind of groups is anyone getting with the GP in .327?

Did the gun show last weekend and didn't sell anything. Went to the gun show today and came home with two. Bought a Ruger, yeah I know, a FR, but it was one I wanted to shoot. Got a single seven in .327 with a 4.5 inch barrel. Never seen one with a short barrel. Paid the Guy 500 and then He comes back and gives Me 4 boxes of ammo. Also picked up a HS 22LR derringer, brand new, made in Hampden Ct. Guy said 250 and I jumped. Pics tomorrow.

Great choice! I have the GP100 Lipseys 5" in 44 Special and it has become my favorite gun and caliber. This gun shoots anything and shoots is accurately.

I have been intrigued by the 327 and it is likely one I will add to my GP collection. Enjoy it!

Picked these up at the gun show yesterday. Ruger single seven and a Hi Standard derringer .22LR.
