Got one t'other day at Bass Pro. Nice. At first I tbought it was heavy but I LOVE the way it feels in the hand and has grown on me a whole lot. Anybody have one or had one? Take care,

One of the most popular knives out there. Got yourself a quality blade from Buck. Heard Buck does a great job with 420 HC steel. I use a Buck folding Alpha model myself which has a rubber grip. Has served me well.

I've carried a Buck 110 since 1973. Was a Coast Guard Boatswain Mate and that was my knife. It and a spare were purchased at the PX at Homestead AFB. Broke the blade on one in 1977 and one last spring. Sent them back to Buck for a reblade, and both came back looking like new.

Great knife, great company.

I have had a 110 for quite a few years. It is an iconic and much-copied American knife that did a lot to popularize lockback knives. I don’t carry mine much, as it is too heavy for my pockets, and I am not a guy who wears knives on my belt. It goes in the camping kit, and is quite useful around camp.

One of these days, I mean to order one from Buck’s custom shop. It will have a drop point and a tool steel blade. Dunno what finish; nothing too extravagant.

The basic 110 is quite a bargain, typically under $40 at a big box store, a lot of knife for the money. But you guys knew that.

Somebody beat me to it!
I’ll say it anyway.
Your kidding, right?
The Buck 110 set the standard for folding - lockers.
It’s been copied everywhere from Germany to Pakistan.
Reportedly , Some knife laws reference it by name.
I carried one in SEA.
As mentioned, it’s a little heavy for pocket carry.
It was designed and sold as a pouch carry belt knife.

I have a Buck 110 and a 112, both manual folders, both from my birth year (1989). I also have a 112 automatic I recently picked up at the last Wanenmacher Gun and Knife Show in Tulsa. Also pictured is a Buck 105 and a Buck 371. Not pictured I have a Buck 395.

Nice job not bragging about the two sweet RMKs you slipped in there.

I bought my 110 in the late 70's as a young teenager... still have it...
like many have stated... too heavy for EDC so that is a LEEK... but will pass the Buck on to my son... great knife... what many others wish they were...
