Got a DD-214? You are eligible for Glock Blue Line prices
Just a friendly reminder. You are eligible for Blue label pricing until November 11th, can only get one.
Blue label pricing for a standard Glock, such as a 17/22/23, is $398.20. 43/43x price is $358.

so do you have to send them a copy of the DD-214? I would be very reluctant to send a copy of my DD-214 to anybody.

No, just bring it with you to your closest Blue Label Glock dealer. Call ahead to make sure of what they have available.

No, you dont even need to show them, this is through your local store, just a retired military ID card is good enough
I bought a Glock 43 in June, for that price, and they installed the mag extender and a box of ammo for regular price. Good deal
They dont advertise it but my LGS has a quota of guns they keep back for LE, first responders and military, u have to ask.

I have a .pdf copy of mine that I've blacked out the SSN. Nothing else on there is dangerous. I have accounts with Aimpoint and Expert Voice among others, and there are some really good discounts on gear.

The "local store" must be a Glock Blue Label dealer, not just any LGS. Stores that are not Blue Label dealers may not participate in this promo.
A retired military ID is not needed for the Salute to Veterans promo. This promo is for any veterans that were honorably discharged. Active, Guard and Reserve, and retirees are eligible for blue label pricing year round. This promo allows other honorably discharged veterans who did not retire to purchase one firearm at blue label pricing during the promo period.

I worked for a Glock Blue Label Dealer. I believe the simplicity of their Blue Label Program is one of the reasons Glocks are so popular among the designated qualified persons. Glock has FAR more Blue Label Dealers available than any other manufacturer.

Note that similar deep discounts to military and LEO are available from other brands - CZ, Rock Island, and Underwood Ammo are three off the top of my head. I'm sure there are more.

Wow that's super cheap. My son is a LEO and I'll have to pass this along.
He's already been issued a 17 and 43 but may need another!
Thanks for the heads up.

I have bought quite a few Blue Label Glocks. I sold most off this past "gun-run" for slightly less than retail but for more than what they cost me. I have plans on buying another before the end of the year.

NOW the discussion is,, which one?
9mm, best carry options? I have never owned a true carry gun,,
THIS might make it possible,,
So, G43X, ? OR, something else?

I was reading the Glock website,,
It looks like the "Blue Label Pricing" is whatever your local Glock dealer wants to set the price at,,
There might not be much discount,, depending on the dealer,,,

Glock 26 is prob the most popular 9mm carry gun, it takes standard mags and there are a lot of options.
First thing to do is call your gun store and ask what is available.
That what my main point, call your LGS store and see what they have and ask if discount pricing is available for you. Don't know till you ASK.

I called the biggest "BLUE LABEL" pricing dealer in Roanoke,
he said Glock put the program on hold due to COVID,
and they did not have a Blue Label gun in the building,,,
Hmmmmmmmmmm
Anyone else hear anything different ? should I look elsewhere?

It's a nice gesture for sure but the onset of Covid has thinned the ranks for many Glock suppliers here. I'll call around. I would like to get a Gen 5 Glock 19.

Sure, the dealer can set the price... but does a blue label dealer really want to be known as the one who overcharges first responders?
Dealers set their pricing on non-blue label firearms as well. If they aren't competitive, I shop elsewhere.

I tried to buy a Blue Label G20SF a decade or so ago from Federal Way Discount Guns. The clerk was sure that the program was NOT available to retirees and refused to sell me one. I went to a very friendly shop in Tacoma and they sold me the same gun for about $20 above the Blue Label price (best she could do).
I was in Federal Way Discount Guns a few months later and asked the owner about it; he was upset that his clerks didn't know the program details and had lost a sale. Of course he did nothing to attempt to make it right with me, just a half-hearted sorry. I've never been back.
Mistakes are normal, how they're handled is the important part.

I bought a Gen 5 G19 through this program a couple of years ago. The dealer did make a copy of my DD-214, but covered up my SSN before making the copy.
My DD-214 has couple of numbers transposed, so I have a DD-215 to correct that. I showed them both and they only used the DD-214 for their records. They were happy visually verifying the DD-215.

I took advantage of this program last February for both a Glock 17 and 19. At the time the rules allowed for 2 Glocks per calendar year for retired military as well as a slew of other LEO, active military, court officials, etc. I'm hoping I can get another one next year as well!

Well, LUCKILY, for ME,, this situation did drag on for a while,,
I knew I wanted a gun smaller than the Glock 17 in the gun safe,,
Prior to today, the smallest gun I ever owned was the Glock 17.
Initially, I was POSITIVE that I wanted the G26,, (I wear a 3X glove! )
Then, I thought maybe a G43,,
Ultimately, I decided to ride to that Blue Label dealer, that told me they had none, and had not had one in three months.
I get there,, a BIG Blue Label banner on the main entrance.
Then, I find the dedicated case,, with about a dozen Blue Label guns.
There are two identical G19's, a G26 SEVERAL large ones like the G34.
So I tell the sales guy, I want the G19, as a veteran. he says "Sorry" the program expired Labor Day,,
I showed him that the Glock site said it ran until November,,
He said, fine, lets write up the paperwork.
About 54 minutes from when I got there I was heading home, with the Glock 19 Gen 5.
They would only sell me one box of ammo,, I got ammo,, (50 rounds of some no-name ball ammo)
The only "name" ammo was some Remington +P+,, I did not want that.
I bought 3 Magpul Gen3 300 Blackout mags,
And I got a pound of Hogden CFEBLK powder.
Total, for the G19 Gen 5, bullets, 3 mags, powder, transfer fee, and local tax = $500.21
It was a good night,,,
I am glad I wasted the trip, driving there,,,

Alls well that ends well, good job!
I bought a G 43 in June from my LGS for $350, quite a discount I thought.
I called them last week to see if they were participating in a similar program with Sig, nope, he said they looked into it but couldn't offer much of a discount at all, oh well.

Glock Blue Ribbon Pricing.
I have purchased several Glocks with blue ribbon pricing in the past couple of years, and I have been retired for 14 years now.
