I have an older steel tube 4X scope. The only name markings are Solana Beach, Calif and it looks like the is an eagle or condor crest. Any ideas on brand?

My guess is it is a private label imported scope. All quality scope manufacturers I know of display their name and logo prominently & proudly. Not saying it won't work, but it is a common practice for Company's to buy overseas and use a local address.

Sounds like a Pan Technics. Not a lot of info on them in Stroebel’s book, but their ads are from around 1960 and say they’re made in the USA.

That's it, but it doesn't say Pan Technics. Thank you!

I miss the old "Slimline" scopes that were made in the old days.

Mostly the .22 scopes that were slim and trim and not like the HUGE monsters
that they make have to put on a little .22 rifle, with today's scopes.

I almost died when my little Weaver got too old and the foggy lens made it hard to shoot and go to a Tasco.

There is a company in Montana that will refurbish it
