As a kid in the 70s, one of the first guns my dad brought home was a Ruger Blackhawk 44 mag. it did not matter if the frame sported Pacs, it was painful to shoot.
Some years back, I bought a Ruger Lipsey Bisley grip 44 mag 3.75" barrel. I never got around to shooting it and wanted something else and like a DA, I sold it.
I got the bug again (Single Action Six Gun bug) for a 44 special 6 shot with a 4-5" barrel.
I have extremly large hands with long fingers. 3XL gloves, I can bust through the fingers. With that said, I recall the Blackhawk was painful on my middle finger as it rest against the trigger guard.
I never shot my Ruger Bisley 44 mag so I cannot get a true shoot feel.
In comes Cimarron with a unique style Bisley grip (looks slight curved). I have never held one.
Anyone got both styles of Bisley grip and large hands and can provide an opinion on which Bisley style they prefer?
Me gripping an Lframe with Bill Davis grips and inner tube filler on the grip.
Me gripping a 1911
Me gripping a Beretta 92
