One of my favorite surplus pistols is the CZ-83 in 9mm Browning (.380 ACP). When I received this from AIM Surplus, it looked as if it was unissued and unfired. I managed to acquire a factory case and CZ factory wood grips from Midway USA. I've seen some of these Israeli Police pistols with a Star of David stamped on the slide, but this one appears to have been struck over for export (round stamp on right side of slide). This particular gun was manufactured in 2003. Sadly, the CZ-83 is now out of production. This is a great shooter. Thanks for looking.

I need another 380 like a hole in my head! But...

Was that a recent purchase from AIM Surplus?

Cheers!

Not recent. I think this was purchased 2016 when they had a bunch of Israeli Police trade-in guns imported. Along with the batch of CZ's, they also had some well used FN High Powers. I've seen some CZ-82 pistols since then, but the 83's are long gone. Update: I just looked on their site and they are selling some CZ-82's for $379.95.

I have an 82 in 9x18, and really like it. Also like the fact that Makarov ammo is a good bit cheaper than .380, and doesn't really kick any more.
