Was at a gun show today and noticed this for sale. I have it's BIG brother in 50A.E. so it intrigued me enough to pick it up.Seemed in good shape..and I don't own a .22 magnum anything..but do have ammo. Had a price of $575 on it. 3 magazines..no box. Bought it for $500. Took it out back and it gobbled up a variety of .22 magnum rounds and felt very good in the hand. Quite accurate too.Just what I need..another budding collection. Well..Ive got a book end start! :)

I have the 6" and 3" version. Whoever had the 6" before me dry fired the heck out of it and the hole in the FP block through which the FP traveled was distorted. Was a PITA figuring out the problem but once ID'd easy to correct. I don't dry fire the guns at all, steel seems fairly soft.

I have one and like it a lot. It works best with 40 and 45 grain bullet weights. When initially released they were designed around Winchester Super X ammo. Mine works well with that brand and also the Fiocchi and Remington brand .22 WMR ammo. It does not like the light 30 grain loads. Apparently powder burn rate and recoil impulse is critical for reliability.

One caution is DO NOT accidentally pull the trigger if you have it field stripped and the hammer is back. The hammer strut is easily bent of the hammer slams against the frame. And as drgbike mentions use a grease designed for stainless on the slide rails.
RIG or Brownells Stainless lube works well.

AMT guns often get a blanket tar & feathering for reliability issues but with the right ammo and lubed correctly I have not had problems with several I have owned.

Sold the 6" just this last year. Finicky on ammo but fun to shoot. Was lingering in the safe, decided to let someone else have some fun with it. Sold for a couple hundred more than I paid for it so win win.
