In 1972 I took 2 Automags NIB from my LGS on trade for a shotgun. These were in plastic case with dies, sights and other stuff that I can’t remember.
We made up 20rds fired them and reloaded and fired again. My buddies dad was in on it and he was machinists at local plant. He wanted to take one to work and show it off. Long story short he asked if I wanted to sell and he sold both for me $300@. Which I figured was $100+ profit. That’s only Automags I’ve owned and only super pistols I’ve ever had NIB. I’ve had most of them on trades. I will say from looking at newer models since the originals were fitted and finished better.
