British L9A1
Here is my Browning Hi-Power Mk III 9mm:
In British Army service, this pistol was officially designated the L9A1, but most troops simply called it the “Browning”.
The holster is a British surplus DPM camo example with spare magazine pocket, made in 2004 and is Iraq War surplus.
The Browning was replaced by the Glock 17 several years ago but plenty of other armies around the world still rely on the legendary Hi-Power.

Picture link comes back saying the picture has been removed.
I'd be interested to see the condition. The few I saw in British service and those described by people I knew in the UK armed forces said all the examples they handled were rough. Then there was the parlous state of the ammo...if there was any available.

That's way nicer than any of the pistols I saw, must have been issued after I left the UK. The grips on the ones I saw were the original blocky wood style.

I have one of the Inglis No2's that I picked up from a local dealer who did not know what he had. Very few rounds through it in my hands and it does not appear to have many at all. Though it does not have the Inglis "poster" on the front on the grip. Also one of the last 40 cal High Powers. Very accurate at up to 20 yds! Dave_n
