Picked one of these up for $505 in a pawnshop. Magazine holds 7 rounds any feed back and experience with these. Seams like a well made light weight handy dandy as to or someone like me whose semi auto experience is mainly with 1911s other than some Ruger 22s

Don’t have one, but, I handled one at the last show. Amazing how tiny they are, one disappeared in my hands. They are well made and nicely finished.

I have one, haven't shot it much, but have had issues with the mag dropping out when firing. It may be my grip, my thumb hitting the mag release during recoil. But an internet search does show some people having an issue with this and I think the fix was back to Kimber for an updated mag release and/or spring. I have had other people shoot it and some had this issue and some didn't. Haven't really had a chance to flesh it out more, too many guns too little time!

I like the gun and it does serve a purpose but the jury is still out.

At the Dallas Safari Club Expos a few years ago I posed for a photograph with a TURQUOISE Kimber Micro 911. A really nice gun. If I wanted a pocket carry 1911 that's the one I'd get.

I've had one for years and there have been no issues with it. It does take some getting used to as far as being an accurate shot with it just because it's so small.
You got a good deal on a nice pistol

I owned one for several years and shot quite a bit through it. Never an issue of any sort with factory hollow points to home loads with a variety of bullet profiles and loads.

I own several Kimber 1911’s in 3” 4” and 5” in 9mm, 38 super and 45 and never experienced any sort of problem. Keep them clean and well oiled with quality anmmo and they’ll function flawlessly. Kimber makes some of the tightest built 1911’s I’ve ever owned.

The only reason I sold it was arthritis in my hands and wrists.

I have two. The standard stainless Kimber Micro 9 is great when you want a micro sized 9mm that is slim and easy to conceal.

If there’s a negative it’s the snappy recoil which slows follow up shots.

About a year ago I came across their Micro 9 (MC)(TP) with a micro compensator. It’s a bit longer with the threaded barrel and compensator, but the compensator is very effective and makes it much less snappy to shoot.

Both of them have been very reliable with FMJ as well as Hornady XTP and Sig V-crown hollow points.

124 gr V-crowns with a max load of HS-6 work well in my MP5, 4” 1911 and Kimber Micro. In the Micro they don’t expand quite as much and penetrate 18-19” in ballistic gel, rather than 16” in the 4” 1911 and MP5. But it’s acceptable performance in all three.

I’ve also experimented with Xtreme X-Def 124 gr bullets and the best performance I have found so far with a full power load is in the Kimber Micro. It achieves 1025-1050 fps which is just right for the plated hybrid hollow point. It gave good expansion and 18” penetration. They have also fed with 100 percent reliability so for a cheap hollow point load it’s very hard to beat.

In my 4” 1911 the same load produced 1120 fps and the bullets under penetrated and began to fragment.

I had one for a while and initially had the common problem many owners reported of the magazine ejecting on its own when firing. it was thought to be caused by a weak magazine release button spring. Many members on the kimber forum claimed the fix was to replace the mag release and spring with Sig P938 parts. I did just that, the parts were a perfect fit and the problem never returned
