Well it won’t sit in the safe and I’m not even sure where you got that from. I never said a single thing about it sitting in the safe.
That being said, I have a lot of collectibles that do and they’re not useless. If I can fondle them, study them, and write about them to educate others, they are NOT useless. The “practical purpose” is that they make me happy and satisfy my hobby. That’s the only purpose they need to have. Period.

One inch groups at 50 meters is something to admire. My Curtis 1911 still shoots under 1.5" groups at 50 yards and there is a certain feeling of confidence when you pick it up to shoot that they are going exactly where you want them to go. Not many folks get to experience that level of accuracy or can shoot a .45 well enough. Nice gun.
