The ugliest gun on the face of the earth...

So much ugly out there. Is ugly just form or can function make a gun ugly?

I vote for Highpoint guns - any and all of 'em. Individually, they may not be the ugliest of any gun, but I'd say Highpoint gets the crown for making the most ugly guns of any manufacturer. Every model is ugly.

Multiply a gun's ugly factor times the number of ugly models and you get an ugly rating far in excess of anybody else. Just IMNHO of course. But dang! they do make a lot of ugly guns.

I think this Croatian monstrosity gives the Type 94 a run for its money.

Interesting. Like a Walther p38 with a double chin

We probably have more ugly guns available today than we've ever had. Beauty in the eye of the beholder means little if it's negated by poor taste.

To me it is right up there in "ugliness" and right next to the Mauser C96 as far as looks & symmetry and are concerned.

I always thought the Mark VI .455 Webley was so ugly it was cool. So of course, I had to have one. I got real lucky in that I found this piece that didn't have the cylinder shaved.

I have one of the last commercial Webley 0.455's with a serial number that puts it close to the South African shipment around 1934-5. Not totally pristine due to what might have been an un-treated blood splash on one side, so a little corrosion. This was added to my collection of shaved 1917-18 0.455's that work well with an insert (obtained years ago from a member of this forum) for 0.455's or using 0.45 rimmed that are loaded to meet a roughly 650 fps setting. Also works in the 1924 Enfield (and before people scream!! Enfield made 0.455 Webleys from roughly 1919-1926). The dealer who sold me the 1934 0.455 had it listed as cheaper than two shaved 1917 Webleys (he did not know what he had) That is where a C&R Licence works well!! Dave_n

I think the FP-45 Liberator might be the winner here but it's close!!! That Nambu is one plug ugly pistol!

The Liberator was designed to be as cheap as possible and intended to fire only one shot. The idea was to use it to kill an enemy soldier and take his gun and ammunition.
The Nambu was the inspiration for the Ruger .22 semiauto pistol design.
