I have a Model 625-2 (I think) It's the one that came out in 1988.

Anyway, I need a fiber-optic front sight, since I can't see it anymore.

Height? and particular recommendations on maker?

Sight

You need a front sight from .278" to .300" tall. Here are two choices there are probably more to be found on this web site. You will have to drill your own hole in the new sight for your pin.

A .300 front with a .160 rear is pretty usual. I like the green SDM.

I have 2 625-8's with SDM's. They are installed flush with the front (muzzle end) of the sight base and occupy all of the sight base but are not too long.

On mine they fit flush to the muzzle end, but overhang the ramp about .030.

Checking before buying seems prudent.
