After buying my 15-22 Sunday (1/24/10) and getting to shoot today I am happy to report that after going through 500+ rounds and trying to get it to fail it preformed perfectly. I did have several misfires and it turned out it was the Peters ammo (by Remington) I was using. My buddy tried some in his Sig 522 and they failed to fire on occasion in his too. I tried Remington Golden bullets and no misfires at all. Got home and cleaned it and ready for the next time.

Awesome scope man, I have pretty much the identical one on mine and it works great and stays true. Post some pics when you put it on, you can see mine in the 15-22 picture thread.

That didn't look quite right. Corrected version below.

So I'm guessing you the kind of guy that buys the spends 10k on a Ford Focus and and puts 20k worth of wheels & bling on it trying to make it a Bentley.

I bought a $450 .22 to plink & play but I'm not going to put a $1300 scope on it just to be cool. Yea The Trijicon is a great scope but lets get real here.

And as stated in other threads the 15-22 is a copy (or rip off) of a M4. :D

So quit thread crapping and move on.

On a side note I ordered on of these Agog Japanese Replica's

Hey, no issues from me on that. I've got a Primary Arms M3 Clone that I play with off and on on one of my ARs (as well as as two 'real' Eotech 512s and an original TA01 AGOG on my carry-handle AR) and the M3 clone works very, very well. I just prefer the Eotech sight window. If it turns out my son prefers the M3 Clone sight picture, then the Eotech will come off the 15-22 and the M3 Clone will go on. It works that well.

That said, I'd be interested to know where you picked up the AGOG clone. I'd love to mount one on a (full metal) AR15 airsoft gun that I have.

Acog, Aimpoint, PEQ2, Millett TRS-1, S&W bayonet...etc - Calguns.net

My buddy got one also. I think we got the last two.

Thanks! Might be looking to pick up that Aimpoint 3X clone with flipper since Primary Arms has been out of their 3X Gen2 for a while. If I get one, I'll post results here.

I don't know why it is I can shell out for two Eotechs, but for some reason can't unclamp to buy a genuine 3X magifier. My wife would say I'm just broken that way ;)

I'm just a cheap bastard.

Thread crapping? You show off your cheap counterfeit airsoft scope and get upset when someone criticizes it?

Your free to buy whatever you like. I just have no respect for offshore companies that steal designs, make crappy copies and illegally pedal them here in violation of patent and trademark laws. Quite often crooked dealers try to pass off these counterfit products as the read deal. The only reason the products actually make it into the states is because it's impossible for customs to catch them all.

On occasion the airsoft manufacturers that make these products will license the rights to produce the copies, but in those cases the products are clearly marked as such.

I'm not saying you need to go buy a $1200 ACOG for your 15-22. But there are plenty of other cheap options available that don't involve stealing $$$ from US manufacturers.

So when Honda started selling cars here we should have said no thank you I don't want a car that is cheaper but does all the same things I need? I think there is a place and price point for everything. Yea I could have got a crap Bushnell that looks the same, but because it's an American company it's ok? Dimes to doughnuts the Bushnell is made in China.

Maybe I'm off base here, but I think that Ed should buy whatever the hell Ed wants to buy.

?????

When Honda started selling cars in America (N600) they didn't even remotely look like anything from Detroit and were wearing their own label on the hood. Honda wasn't trying to copy anything illegally or otherwise....

Personally, I think youre both right. Tom, I TOTALLY understand what youre saying, and Im the same way when it comes to supporting local/US business. but, with that said, even tho the rip off looks the same, its obviously not where close when it comes to quality. any serious shopper is going to know this going into it, and not expect (or get) ACOG quality at FACOG prices. I dont know.. thats just how I see it.

I agree, god i cant believe i just agreed with you. :p lol.... but i also can read between the lines acog and eotech and all the others that are stupid exspensive for a red dot only wanna sell to the millitary and get their contracts.. thats why even thow technology has gotten cheaper the prices stay stupid... just my thoughts.. and im sure someone will tell me im wrong... but at what i make ive got a rule that the scope should never cost mucch more than 1/5 the cost the gun.. im not saying i never brake that rule but i do try and stay close to it... and if eotech dont make anything in that line then im going somewhere that does.. if they want my money they will need to start a line of product that i can afford for a 400 dollar gun
