But they changed the springs 4 sho!

OK, Your extractor has a completly diferent shape than mine. Others please confirm this.

In your pic as your looking at the pic, the bottom left corner is "filed" down at an angle.

Mine is just a little rounded off. Is this from wear?

Also mine doesnt go over that far.

Thanks for the pics. Didn't you say the charging handle may also be different? Post a pic of that so we can compare.

LOL! That crossed my mind too. Though.... I think I'll keep feeding mine the Feds until I have a reason to send it in. Never know... there could be yet another "update" soon.

I thought about it, as well. Nah, I'm pretty happy w/ it now so there is no sense poking the tiger. It is amazing that the great minds do think alike.

This is good news, they got mine back on 2/2, I am still waiting for it to be returned. Hopefully very soon now.

Well got mine back yesterday, same story as the original poster, new springs, new mag, brought to current specs, also appeared to have been cleaned. Two week turnaround for mine which I think was very good. Hopefully the last I have to worry about this. Will be trying out this weekend.

I only had mine for 1 day and made it through about 400 rounds before i got OOB firing and the extractor blew! Called Smith today and my call tag is on the way. Can't wait to get it back and see what kind of magic they work. I am going to attempt to get my barrel switched out with the new type as well...but that depends on what kind of magic i can work in my letter

When I sent me 15-22 to S&W I put a letter in their and part of it I said "since you guy's have been giving people 2 extra magazines when you ship it back to them, could you put the A1 style threaded barrel w/ compensator on mine instead of the 2 magazine's, I would greatly appreciate it." We'll I got it back and no threaded barrel, but they did give me 1 extra magazine.

Hey, no problem. Mine also broke the first day too, it sucks. Got mine back yesterday and I'm going to shoot it this weekend to see how good she shoots now, can't wait. Anyways good luck on getting that threaded barrel.

I am just glad my photos will help those of us who recently sent them in, identify what's been done. Again I am not making any scientific postulations as to the actual spring rates, but they certainly have been changed.

I won't be shooting any time soon though.. Probably 2 or so weeks, waiting for all this white crap to go away!
