I contacted John and asked him to make me a set of Coco Bolo grips with medallions for my 686. They arrived yesterday and needless to say they're awesome as John is a real artist. I love the design with the palm swells and the total feel of them.

Thanks, John

Art as always your guns and photography are top notch. Those stocks are some of the nicest I ever seen.

Beautiful work as always . I love Kurac stocks and they shoot and feel as good as they look . I should sell my camera and use the money to have FYIMO just take my pictures .

Great looking grips and very good photo's.

Art,

Those are indeed beautiful, and I also know how good they feel at the range. John does very nice work - and, in your case, started with a very nice chunk of wood! Congratulations,

Jerry

fyimo.

Great sixgun and grips. Great pictures as well.

I agree with borntoraisehogs...you do great photos.

Will you come to my house and take pics for me too?

I'll let you shoot some of my Smiths...............

Kurac? Website link?

No website, but he is a member of this forum and posts his products in the WTS accessories forum when he has some to offer. Contact him directly at jiculina[AT]yahoo[DOT]com, making the obvious character substitutions.

John is working on a set of claro walnut stocks for me right now. They will be going on a Pre-27 that I posted here several days ago. I hope to have them within a couple of weeks, and will definitely post new photos as soon as I can.

In the meantime, here are more Kurac stocks on a 57 (cocobolo) and 629 (ebony, RB -> SB conversion).

And Art, your 686 looks great with those stocks.

Great, that means I better make them extra good!

Fyimo-I have to say you post some of the best photographs of Smith and Wessons I have seen, along with the titles they are always fun to see.

John, I don't think you could improve on the design or the finish, nice job.
Great photos as always Art. Any chance of posting a photo from the drivers side that shows the profile? Thanks, Bob

Here'an image of the bottom and one from the rear of the gun. These aren't the best images but they should give you an idea.

Thanks Art, that's exactly what I wanted to see. Seems like the palm swells are slightly more pronounced than on the cokes and in my mind, that is a good thing. Bob
