Has anyone here got or used a Fabus Paddle holster and if so do you like them. Thanks for some input or other suggestions.

I don't particularly care for them. The older ones could be difficult to either draw the pistol or get the holster to retain the pistol, I see where some of the newer ones have an adjustment for retention that might have solved that problem.

I bought a RSR Defense plastic holster that uses a positive retention latch, the one for the M&P 40 fits with a little bit of work inside where the trigger guard sits to make it work for my SW40VE

I've got one that I've used with my 1911. It's okay for a cheap, occasional use holster but I would carry it every day. There are so many others out there. Take a look at Dale Fricke Holsters . A little spendy but very high quality workmanship.

I have a Fobus for my SW9VE. Like said above,"it is a so-so holster. Retention is not very good. The one Fobus sells for the Sigma,(model HK1), is actually made for another model gun. It just happens to fit the Sigma, "so Fobus says!!!"

Another choice is Lobo Gun Leather. Lobo Gun Leather - Home
He is a member of this forum and makes a great product. He make holsters that are made for the Sigma, + most other models of S&W.

Worth checking out.

Thanks... Good info... I just sent him an e-mail via his site about a model 1.

Ive got the Fobus paddle for my 9mm and retention is great -- too tight. Someone said a little WD40 would make it a faster draw but it didn't work for me. So I guess I;m ambivalent.

I have Fobus holsters for all of my semi-autos. They work well for me. If I had one that was too snug, I just wiped down the inside with some Armor-All, wiped it dry, then it fit fine. You should be able to turn the holster upside down (with full mag inserted), and shake it, the gun should not fall out. Another good holster is the Blackhawk Serpa holster-the model for the S&W M&P also fits the Sigma.

Try silicone spray?
