Went to Wally World yesterday, wife had a few bucks burning a hole in her purse and so, I decided to check out the ammo supply.

They had full shelves and I started to smile. No wonder. There wasn't an employee anywhere. I hunted and hunted and finally found the girl at the tire center and she paged someone to unlock the cabinet. No one responded

I tried to find the manager or supervisor, they were hiding too.

I guess I found out why they had so much ammo.....:(

which wall mart?

The two that I know are close to you (and I) both have ammo, but never have anyone around the sporting goods counter....I garnered a lot of attention when I got cut by a sharp piece of a display.....lesson learned: bleed all over the floor around the bullets and someone will show up quickly to unlock the case :)

This happened to me twice. The second time I was with my girlfriend and had her look up WalMarts phone number on her fancy phone. I then called WalMart and asked if they would mind sending an associate to the sporting goods section because I was waiting for 10 minutes and no employee was in sight. It worked. Maybe a minute later someone came over. I think the employees like to take breaks regardless of if they have someone to cover their area.

Cud be I shudn't do this but I have the biggest problems at the wally world at Roosevelt and military and the other is at Brooks City Base.

No one works there except the cashiers cuz they want ur money.

Slim, my folks live just a couple of miles from the one on Roosevelt, they pass it and go to the one by Brooks because of the lousy service at the first. Did you happen to see any 45 colt??

Is the service at WallyWorld indicative of the pay scale for the employees ? They are certainly not earning any awards for pay or benefits ........

Brooks

Slim,

I bled all over the floor behind the ammo counter at the Brooks location....I was surprised be the amount of 7.62x51 (308) that they had...I was looking for handgun rounds at the time and the had zero of what I was looking for...maybe I will have to hit the Roosevelt location...I go to that Academy all the time for shotgun shells anyway.

You and I need to get together and burn up some 41 rounds...ever go down to Blackhawk?

Same over in far SE TX....
Had to wait on the "keys" to show up...
Bought two Federal .22 bulk packs and two Federal 9mm 50/box....
Plenty of both on the shelf...
They also had WWB .380...100/box at $31.97...
But I don't shoot .380...

Good to see ammo back on the shelves.....
