A good deal?

As i'm learning more i'm buying more, so i'm spending more time looking for deals.

So far I've got the 15-22 from jetguns.com for $353 shipped/insured.

Now i'm looking for some MOE stuff and found the flip sights for $26 shipped.

1st Edit:Found out the moe sights are fake.

2nd Edit: The jet guns order went through with no problem. Tony at jet guns was honest about a 1 day shipping delay. Good people there.

Those "chinese" good deals On magpul and alot of other things are FAKES! I bought a PTS front flip up sight( supposed to be one any way) from the same people, purely to check the quality. And let me tell ya its a fake pure and simple. Ya its got a solid-ish feel to it, but I went ahead and mounted it to my 15 22 to "test it out" It lasted MAYBE 12 days before it fell apart, 5 of those days I DIDNT even fire the weapon. By fell apart I mean the front sight post literally fell out.

Dont go for the "bargains", in the long run you end up buying twice. Just get the real deal. As REAL PTS and MBUS sights are not but a few dollars difference. But These people have one of those" too good" kind of deals. My lost 29 bucks is proof. And NO one would sale REAL ones that cheap,and if they were to be real, they would be the... THE top seller of them, on ebay or any where else. Check the listing a little bit more closely. He says its for "airsoft only" I checked into his feedback, and more than a few people even list the feedback as the item is a "replica". The REAL Magpul MBUS items go for around 99 or so dollars for the set.

I agree. Beware ebay replicas. You can find everything cheaper on ebay, but it's usually crap in the end. First thing I do after a search, before looking at any results, is click US only. You'll loose more than half of the results but do you even care to look at anything shipping from China??? 2nd, I click auction only. Your not going to find a screaming deal anywhere, but what you may find is a guy, laid off, down on his luck, selling something you want for $10-$15 cheaper. Thats it. Don't give the ChiComs a chance, they're all over ebay. Get the real deal. Also, if your getting the 15-22 for $350, I'd challenge anyone to find it cheaper. Nice find.

yeah not worth it, you can get the MBUS individually for $34.99 each from Front Sights

Looks like JetGuns is OOS on the 15-22 this morning. I was planning to pick up another at that price.

seems odd, i just got an email from him less than an hour ago with no mention of OOS..

Just talked with Tony, he said they just got another shipment in, at least 20 of them. serials ranging from DT-DU. said he has sold over 200 with zero complains about any of them.
(i'm talking about threaded barrel anyway, didn't ask about non-threaded, no reason to get the regular when they are both the same price.)

Just talked to Tony; they just got a new shipment in today and are currently updating their website. It will probably be later today before the website is updated. Just ordered over the phone.

this is my first transaction with them but i based my decision on there gunbroker feedback and fast response time. I spoke with tony as well and my ffl guy should have my 15-22 tues or weds. i'll update when i get it with some pics. should have a range report sunday, if i can sneak away from the wife


as per ups tracking it will be delivered to ffl this tuesdays. my bag, sling, red dot, and extra mags will be here wednesday/thursday. Perfect after 24hr waiting period.

There are lots of quality folding sights... YHM, Troy, Midwest... but they are expensive and typically weigh more. There are also clones of quality sights you can find here. Iron Sights and BUIS

MBUS are the logical choice being polymer (match rifle finish and light weight) and they are less expensive among the quality sights.

Oh, I understand. I have VERY close to the amount I paid for the gun, just in accessories on mine so far. Right now im setting at 418+ dollars so far in things Ive added AFTER I bought the gun.( WOw.. didnt realise I had THAT much so far in just add ons.. And I have a strong feeling im NOT the only one in this category lol) Some things, I bought, didnt like, left in the bag till the next rifle.( ladder covers and a scope riser, I didnt include thost totals in the price of the stuff I have on my gun so far.). But for the most part im finally done. Ohh forgot about getting new generation 2 of MBUS once they are out. lol

Thats what we are here for, to help each other out when we can. From reading your various posts, Id assume your well on your way to joining "the club" lol. I honestly had no idea I had that much in add ons to my 15 22 untill I litteraly was posting that comment. Then it all hit me and I was kinda in sticker shock lol. It adds up QUICK, but when you buy a piece here..piece there.. more later. You dont keep total track of your costs I suppose. Im just VERY glad my wife DOESNT read these forums lol. Even though shes a Dr. Shes still a wife.. and we know how those can be on "stuff you dont need" lol

I've done likewise to the tune of about $200 in add-ons and mine isn't here yet---the seller 'lost' my FFL that I emailed him. Shipping today per the seller; this is one I bought last week before I purchased the one today from JetGuns. Now I'll have 2 which means I can double up on the add-ons!
