I have owned my M&P 15 PC for a couple years now, it is very accurate and has probably the best trigger of all my rifles. I got kind of bored with it though and decided to order a new Yankee Hill upper for it. What was a boring target and varmint rifle is now.... :D

As far as size and weight it's exactly what I want for the rifle, but it's cheap junk pretty much. It holds it's zero but the power knob crapped out after 120 rounds of 5.56. I was able to fix it but I don't expect it to last for long, it's just a stand in until I decide on a real optic.

Look into getting a Primary Arms MicroDot. It's $89, but it's a tough little RDS - certainly good enough for a civilian gun - and it only weighs 4 ounces. I have one on M&P (that I use for tactical carbine matches - 600 rounds and going strong), and am about to buy another for my homemade AR.

I personally ordered this sight. It is a great deal, and you can't beat aimpoint quality. In my opinion your best served by saving up the cash and buying a quality optic once, instead of cycling through all the cheap knock offs like primary arms, and vortex. Good luck to you. :)

Yeah I like running an Aimpoint on my issue M4. I think I will go with a smaller reflex sight for this rifle though like a Fastfire II on a small riser.
