j frame iwb holster

I just purchased an IWB and pocket holster from RBKA holsters. Very nice work and I received it in about 3 weeks.

Heres the link:

I used to use a suede IWB holster and it was fairly comfortable until I discovered Peter Luger's Steak House. After putting on a few pounds in my mid to late 30's I went to pocket carry most of the time. Over the last year or so I switches back to a Kramer horsehide belt scabbard holster and so far it has been the best I've used yet. There are still days that I will just stick my M60 in a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster and call it a day.

I just uploaded pictures of a S&W wheel gun on my website and under the "custom kydex gear" thread on this site (it should be 2 threads below this one after this post).

I suggest you keep it in your options. The advantages of kydex, this design in particular, are endless. Once you consider it fills the role of an IWB and OWB holster - the price is very reasonable. I offer a money back return policy if you don't like the holster.

Just let me know if I can help you with anything. I thought I'd respond because I recently converted a leather guy to kydex after he bought the holster for his 6shooter. This is the same gun pictured on the site/thread (both of the holster and of it on his hip) and he can let me use it anytime to make holsters off of it within 24 hours - so I consider the model to be stocked.

My favorite IWB for the j-frame is a simple offset clip on (offset makes it less bulky since it's not over the cylinder)...as long as you wear a decent belt, the clip will stay put (providing it's a well made clip)....this one is a Del Fatti but he has over a year wait....other makers offer this style, including Lobo gun leather...I have one of his for my P2000 and it works great.

I've been using a comptac CTAC and I just picked up a Galco King Tuc. The king Tuc is super tight and not ready to start using. I have been trying to stretch it out the last few days.

I just can not warm up to Kydex holsters. I am not badmouthing them and I understand they do work well, It's just that I grew up in he leather holster era and can not bring myself to buy one. Just looking at them gives me he willies.

This is the Nassar Model from "UBG Holsters", I have the similiar Decker Model... good quality leather!!!
