tyler t grip inserts

just how much are wooden hogues? I mean that may be an option for the j frame. I just need something that would take up the space like a tyler. I don't want to worry about sweating with rubber. I have to start thinking of options because I can't wait forever for tylers that will never come. I should have thought of this before.

Craig Spegel Boot grips duplicate the dimensions of stock Magna grips with a T Grip in place.

Also, my T Grip finally showed up today after almost five MONTHS.

Curious that they showed up the week I filed a complaint with the OKC BBB.

Next time I need one I'll just cruise fleabay.

I've read this thread with great intrest. I ordered six of the T-grips in April along with a $181.00 check which was cashed within a week. I have called six times and talked to Brian twice. Both times I was promised my order would be shipped within a week and I'm still waiting. I am happy to hear that some of you have been receiving your orders, but I believe that taking money, promising deliveries which never arrive boarders on theft.

My check was received by them on 5-14-10. T-grip arrived in today's mail. There is hope that they are trying to get orders out, albeit somewhat slowly.

Look what the nice postal lady brought today. Ordered mid June.

Mid-July order and still waiting for mine. Seems that the shipping is erratic and not related to order placement date.

Some guys here have reported delivery from May orders, others from August...... :(

Is it my eyes or are you t-grips scratched arrowhd? looks kinda like it.

Nope they are scratched, but actually I did that. They did not fit like I would have liked. I scratched them while "experimenting". Looks worse in the photo. Barely notice it in person. However they fit very well now which is more important to me.

Apparently they're actually working. My three miracles arrived today!!

05-21-10 - Order and money received
10-19-10 - Product received

Thank God I'll likely never need another one.

I only needed one but I will admit that I went through and tried each one on my Model 65 and picked the one that I thought looked the best installed. They all fit well though, I just thought the one I chose was the most symmetrical.

Well you know that old saying.....better to have it and not need it, than to need it and having to wait 5 !#@*#!!@!! ing months for it!:D

I guess I must be living right. I finally received all of the T-grip adapters I order in April! I happy they finally showed up, as I needed a couple of them just to make the revolvers comfortable to shoot, but it will be quite a while before I order any more.

My mirror polished #1 was received today, ..155 days after it was ordered.

The subject t-grip is flawless and has an outstanding nickel type finish.

Too bad I no longer have a need for it.

Hi I had heard there was a illness in the family hence the long wait.My Gun shop had the first T grip for my Detective Special.I then posted in the Colt forum that I was going to get a T grip for my nickel Detective Special and one appeared in the mail with no return address listed as a anonomous gift.I guess it was good Karma because I had given a version 1 D.S. original grip to a forum member who needed it.#3 came from a request in the S+W classifieds for 1 for my Model 640@ a price that was lower from manufacturer pprice with shipping. They are out there you just need to look......Mike

I received my 3 t-grips today. ordered on june 4, received oct 23. I have posted pictures of 3 guns with the grips. a week ago a fellow poster was nice enough to sell me an original 3r t-grip. I have it on my model 65-5. the older one is the shiny grip. for comparison I took a picture of the same gun with the newer 3r adaptor(brushed). funny it looks like the older t-grip does not fit as well, especially just behind the trigger guard. but it feels better and is actually a tighter fit compared to the newer adaptor that does look more flush to me. also, maybe it's just me, but it seems like the older style is thicker. one more thing I noticed, the grips seem to feel best on the smaller guns. the j-frame has a very snug fit as well as the snub 65-5. but the 13-3 seems like it could be a little more firm. I wonder what the feel would be like on an N frame?

I will post up how they shoot if I can make it to the range next saturday.

oh pardon the pics. taken from my cell phone. wife has the digital.
