does anyone have any good pics or info on the smaller size round s&w belt buckles. i want one to wear on my belt. i have searched a little, and there seem to be a bunch of different ones: brass/bronze, pewter, enameled, etc. i would be interested in buying one, or just gathering information!

thank you very much!

E-Bay has quite a few listed at varying prices. New additions pop up almost every day or so. Some of the prices are reasonable, others are bordering on the insane. You might also consider advertising in the "Want to buy" on the Forum if you haven't already.

thanks, yeah, i have been watching ebay and gunbroker for a while. the one i really like on ebay is 62.95!!! surely, i can find one a lot cheaper than that. if not, i guess i will have to just keep looking, and tie a piece of rope around my britches! i posted an ad in the wtb forum, also.

happy thanksgiving!

Ed, what buckle on e-bay are you looking at that costs $62.95? Just curious.

Sorry, I went back & found it. Thats one of the insane ones. I've seen them sell for 20 to 25 plus a few dollars shipping.

FYI, Ron & other S&W Buckle collectors: Bradford exchange is coming out with a whole new series of S&W belt buckles this month. They say they plan to issue two each several months. They are nice looking milticolored buckles but at $40 ea, +S&H, I don't expect them to fly off the shelves! Check 'em out at Bradford's web page or on eBay.
A complete collection of S&W factory authorized buckles, either factory made or by a licensee such as Bergamot Foundry, is a challenge to accumulate. If you add the non-factory rip-offs, you can well exceed a 100 buckles. The upside is that most of the buckles can be found, on eBay, or Craig's List, etc.,NIB, for $25 or less. Exceptions are the custom buckles , such as the ones made by the Yellow Horse family of the Navajos, etc. that are seldom seen on the resale market. Ed.

Ed, many thanks for the information. For those of our members who haven't had the pleasure of Ed's company, you have missed meeting one of our most knowledgeable S&WCA members. I've heard it said that Ed advised Mr. D.B. Wesson on several designs. Probably just an unfounded rumor.
