better jeans for pocket carry...

I personally don't see how anyone pocket carries in jeans witout going "gangsta style".

I wear Lee regular fit jeans. My S&W model 36 snubbie fits fine with the DeSantis Nemisis holster in the front or back pocket. My Kel Tec P3AT works equally well front in the DeSantis or in back pocket with the Uncle George Wallet holster.

I don't have any problem going "gangsta" style as the previous poster said whether I pocket or holster carry since I use Perry Suspenders with a Wildness Instructor belt.

I wear a lot of carpenter jeans and I have found the Wranglers to work well with my PF-9 and even with my Model 12. In non carpenter jeans I like Lucky Brand relaxed fit.

I threw away my Wrangler's...I won't buy another pair until Brett Favre is punished appropriately....Just kidding....

Levi donates loads of money to ANTI-GUN organizations!!

I stopped wearing their products 20 years ago..........

DON'T finance the enemy;)

Jean Carry:

Thank you for the post on jean belt loops. I have so many "Levies with loops torn off teh bottom from 2 mag pouch catching on rear car door frame upon entry it's ridiculous. I will look into the other two brands this week.
Thanks,

Ultimate old man + carry jeans

LL Bean Comfort Waist model is great for us oldsters. They have an expandable waist (but you can't see the elastic because it is hidden in the belt loop area) that allows room for desert! Front and rear pockets are ample for a snubby J frame.

L.L. Bean. Not only are they better... you can send em back without a reason and get a new pair!!!

carhart carpenters.

A+ 10 on this one. While feeding the cows around here a a kel-tec in a Mika rides just rite in the rear pocket, I'm another old and fat guy and the fit and comfort is just rite. And made in America.

re levis

In my opinion, no gun owner should ever wear Levis. They give tons of money to anti-gun groups and others that I consider very un-American. There are a couple of brands of jeans that are specifically tailored for ccw. Personally, I prefer Wranglers.

Thats good to know, good reason for not buying levis, besides they cost 2 damn much....
