Just got my MOE in FDE, and the mag is FDE also!

Does anyone know where they sell the FDE hi cap mags???

They don't yet. I contacted S&W customer service when I got the rifle with the FDE mag and inquired. The guy in customer service didn't even know they supplied the gun with the FDE mag. But he looked into it and found an internal part number, and they are going to make a product out of it. He told me it would take a few weeks to get it into the system so they could sell the mags separately. He told me to check with him in a few weeks. I'll ping him this week for an update and post the response.

I just bought a 15-22 MOE in FDE, and the magazine came in FDE as well. Has anyone seen the FDE magazines for sale?

See my post right above yours. :)

They aren't available yet, but should be soon.

:) Heh - I did... But no patience. It's been like a week since you posted it!

That said, thanks for going the extra mile of calling Smith and updating us here.

That's funny; I don't have any patience either. I guess I've been too much of a pain because the guy I was contacting at S&W has stopped answering my e-mails! :(

Well the FDE mags are now listed as a part by S&W but they aren't on the website yet. I was told to call S&W to order them, which I did on Friday. They are considered "backordered" even though the rep told me they had 1300 of them on the production floor presumably for new rifle production.

If you want to order they are the same price as the black mags, $20.04 each, and the part number is 408300000.

So if everybody that has been asking about these mags calls S&W and orders some we'll probably all get them sooner rather than later.

Im all ebony, but for the cause i will inquire at SW so my brothers can put some color into their hobby...!!

I just happened to pop into this thread. Heaven knows how.
But I must ask, are you guys really discussing the color of your
magazines for your 22 rifles from the factory?
What does it matter what color your magazines are?
Black OR dark earth.
Are you sniping at varmints that can discern vague colors at
great distances?
Do you want to be tacticle?

I just saw your concern about when these would be available and
had to chuckle.
It seems like such a trivial concern with all the other larger issues at hand.

Bless you all.

If the PMag only came in black and guns suddenly starting shipping with tan it stands to reason people may be curious as to when they might be able to get some.

It seems like such a trivial thing to be concerned with why people care about new products coming out with all the other larger issues at hand. Police being shot, famine in Africa, talk about people in government wanting to restrict magazine capacity on a nationwide scale.

You're right, I'll not pay it a second thought and focus my efforts on being a better human.

>implying that your interests in other areas of firearms are of more importance than ours.
>implying that there any important issues at hand when it comes to gun acessories.

Allen Frame has got my mind to thinking

I've been creeping for a long time on here. I have a DSWXXXX model (it shoots federal bulk like a champ). Allen Frame finally inspired me to post.

I too want to focus on larger issues at hand. So, I ask you all this question:

Does anyone know if an o.d. green option might be available for the magazines?

Gentlemen, it was late and I was dog tired.
Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

Actually there may be a suppressed 15-22 in my near future.
Then I'll be on this board asking you guys questions and eating crow!

Apologies all around.

We all make mistakes. Now I'm glad I held off on the response I was going to post when I first read your post! :o
