I just want to publically say thank you to the folks at Hornady. Customer service was excellent today, and I am switching to thier products in pretty much all of my guns. Add them to my list..... S&W, Miller/Hobart Welders, and now Hornady. Best in U.S. customer service. 26

I only wish they made .22LR :( when I asked they said the market was so flooded with it that there wasn't enough profit in it for them. But I do use a lot of their centerfire ammo.
 
I agree wholeheartedly, the folks at Hornady are first rate when dealing with warranty issues, thay flat "take care of you". In this day and age, that is so refreshing! I am super pleased with my LnL AP progressive press.

I had some Hornady Critical Defense ammo that corroded so bad while stored in a synthetic speedloader pouch that I threw it away.

Sent pictures of it to Hornady. Did they replace it? No. Did they ask me to send the ammo to them so they could analyze it? No.

What they did was tell me it had to have been stored in contact with leather, when it most certainly was not.

It will be a while before I buy any more Hornady products.

you have to think about how many folks everyday try to mooch a free box of ammo from an ammo maker.....im sure your story is told to them by 50 different folks a day everyday of the year....and maybe one or two are honest and the rest are balogna......they know this and they accept the chance of loosing one good customer as the price for not giving in to 1,000 cheats.

Why didn't they take me up on my offer to send the ammo back to them? I didn't shoot any of them.

+1; when I first setup my LNL I put the shell plate spring on incorrectly and snapped it while loading. They sent me out a set of three NC.
 
Sorry to hear about CP's situation, but I'm another big fan of Hornady's customer service. Everyone talks about Dillon's no BS warranty, but it has been my experience that Hornady backs their product (Lock-N-Load AP press) on a par with Dillon. Any time I have needed to replace a broken part, they ship me a replacement at no charge. I highly recommend the LNL AP to anyone looking for a progressive reloading press.
