3913 Grips

I just purchased a S&W 9mm model 3913 manufactured in 1994 according to an e-mail I sent to S&W. I am not a gunsmith by any stretch.....I want to get change the grips to a rubber Hogue grip. Question.....how do I remove the old grips???

It's not difficult, the directions that come with the grips are pretty good, the biggest challenge was getting the pin back in; had to trim a bit of plastic off of the block that the screws go into. It took about 10 minuets.

On a side note, I had the pleasure of meeting some men form the Black Watch when they came to K Bay for some joint exercises with Recon. We were in the e-club and tried to match them drink for drink,, finally gave up and talked the regimental piper to grab his pipes and play a few, he did, it was incredible. Good guys, very hard core, gave Recon and everyone else a run for their money I'm told.
