and it's the biggest piece of **** i've ever had in my hand. it's for sale. the trigger is nothing like the one i handled at another store. if i was in a gunfight i'd be screwed with that trigger pull. hell the trigger feels like it wants to break it's so flimsy, and to top it off the sights aren't even straight and it didn't come from budsgunshop.

Hmmmm, my Sigma is a fine handgun. Accurate, reliable, and I'd trust it to perform well in a gun fight. 10lbs trigger pull is not an issue with me. Shoot it often. You and your Sigma will be fine. :D

Did you test fire the Sigma at the Range before buying one?

btw- i've seen your comments on youtube elvis, i LMAO'd. you need to be a sales rep for the Sigma

Sounds like you need to do a bit more research on your purchases!
Sorry you didn't like it but glad you got to sell it quickly!

My comments on YouTube? I stand by them. It's obvious you purchased a handgun with out test driving it first.
My Sigma performs fantastic. Does what I want it to do. To bad your Sigma didn't work out for you. Not everybody can figure out the Sigma. Those of us who can shoot it with accuracy. :D

Sales Rep for Sigma? You mean sales rep for Smith And Wesson. Sir, I suggest you do your homework before spouting off your uninformed mouth. One word-Research! ;)

I kinda doubt you'll like the SD or even the M&P series at this point. I don't own any, but I stock & sell them all. It isn't a big deal, probably the reason why there are so many different types of guns out there.

So this guy buys a Sigma before test driving it. Then complains about the Sigma? What is wrong with this picture?

I've bought firearms over the years and sorry to say some quality control isn't like others. I've had to mod, fix and tweak a few things so I don't get nuts when one doesn't work as well as they swear it will.

Heck, I had to add .006 to a firing pin on a Savage 22 mag rifle last year to stop the dreaded light strikes Savage rimfires are prone too. Now i'm about to double spring the mag so it will work like its supposed too. :D

I went through the same thing years ago with a Sigma. I hear mixed reviews that they are made better now. I know mine maxed out a trigger pull scale at 12 or 14 pounds. It just felt so good in the hand that I put up with it for a while before finally admitting that it just wasn't the gun for me. The guy I sold it to was happy as a clam so it was all for a good cause. He was new to shooting and now he enjoys the sport. All's well that ends well.

My first EDC was the SW40VE. Next it was the Ruger SR9c. Both fine weapons. For the last week or so, I am back to carrying the Sigma because I am wearing heavy clothing. Even though the Ruger has a manual safety and a Glock style trigger, I actually feel safer with the Sigma. Simple, safe and ready to rock.

MY SIGMA WAS OK,IT WASNT A PIECE OF ****

THE TRIGGER DIDNT BOTHER ME AND IT WAS FAIRLY ACCURATE. THE THING I KEPT TELLING MYSELF IS THE GUN WAS ONLY $250 NEW IN THE BOX. IT IS A GREAT GREAT DEAL. I DO NOT HAVE MINE ANYMORE,I DID TRADE IT IN AND GOT ANOTHER GLOCK. LOL I JUST GOT MY 2 FREE MAGAZINES IN THE MAIL THRU THE MAIL IN REBATE. IM GOING TO KEEP THEM JUST IN CASE I BUY A USED SIGMA DOWN THE ROAD. I WILL BE GOOD TO GO THEN. THE ONLY THING I DIDNT LIKE IS I COULD FEEL THE RECOIL THRU THE FRAME. IM NOT SURE HOW TO SAY ON THE COMPUTER WHAT I MEAN LOL. IT FELT LIKE A CHEAP PLASTIC GUN WHEN I SHOOT IT. RECOIL DOESNT BOTHER ME BUT IT FELT LIKE SOMETHING PLASTIC WAS BROKEN IN THE GUN EVERYTIME I SHOOT IT. MAYBE SOMEBODY OUT THERE KNOWS WHAT IM SAYING??? AT THE SAME TIME THOUGH IF I WOULD GET ANOTHER ONE THAT SHOULD SAY SOMETHING ABOUT THE PISTOL IN THAT ITS NOT THAT BAD. I WOULD THINK WITH EVERYTHING THAT IS ON THE INTERNET YOU WOULD PREPARE YOURSELF INTO NOT THINKING YOUR GOING TO SHOOT THIS SIGMA AND SAY TO YOURSELF "WOW,ITS AWESOME! I LOVE IT! LOL

You should just get the SR40 like you said you wanted to. Too bad you didn't like the Sigma, should've at least shot it before calling it ****. I've had great results with my 40VE, reliable and accurate. Can't ask for more. My SR9 is great too. Much lighter trigger which it sounds like you may need to be happy. The SR series from Ruger is more comparable to the M&P series in my opinion. Ruger is a bit cheaper though in price, not quality.

Wife and I both carry 9VE's. Did the trigger mods, left the one over one springs alone. Tweeked the pigtail so it really doesn't do much. Polished every surface to perfection. Triggers very smooth, pull much lighter, about 8#. Wife's still very long, mine is shorter as I took a bit off the top of the striker. Zero problems but it isn't a mod for a shadetree smith like me to undertake. When I say a "bit" I mean almost nothing. Please don't do this on my say so if this is your EDC handgun. I should have had a new striker to use when using it as my carry until I put three four hundred down the pipe to ensure reliability. Over 1500 since the last (striker) mod and no issues. Sorry it wasn't your cup of tea.

do elaborate where i "spouted my mouth off", no b/c you can't. i gave my OPINION on MY firearm that I purchased.
i did research. i dry fired one that had a great trigger on it but the guy was asking way too much- $400. so i ordered from another dealer, it arrived new in box but the trigger felt loads heavier than the one i tried.
the youtube comment wasn't meant as an insult, but since you're trying to play the keyboard warrior routine now; like you do on youtube (cussing at people and name calling b/c they don't like your proclaimed "pinnacle of firearm perfection -the Sigma 9mm")...i'll just put you on ignore. how's that :)

i went to today and handled them both- SR40 and SD40 (same price $430), the trigger on the SD was just right, perfect in my opinion. as soon as i handled it and looked through the sights i was in love....so i got it and am happy :) paid half today, and as soon as pay pal funds hit my bank account i'll pick it up with pics to share.
the sr40 was nice, but handle was just too long for me and that finish scratches easily. it had scuffs all over it and was new. too blingy for me. i'm happy with my purchase and can't wait to get to the range with it.

no worries Joe. thanks for your input, but i'm still in the S&W family! SD40 is perfection IMHO

You dry fired a hangun ONCE AFTER you purchase it, then you conclude it's a "Piece of ****"? I call that spouting your mouth off. You can't handle the Sigma, thats fine. Far from a piece of ****.

Ignore works for me. :D
