I was making a sort of non scientific experiment, which involved me making a deposit on a used Ruger Vaquero in .45 Colt with a 7 1/2 barrel. I noticed that when I go to a gun store, I often find things I had no intention of buying but there it is. Now I have often noticed that if and when the wife finds out I am buying another gun, she wonders why I need another gun. Yet in the same right, when we are in a department store, I notice the wife buying things that we have absolutely no need for. Who needs new curtains for the windows, we live in the middle if nowhere's and there are blinds already. Luckily she doesn't care for jewelry, so that it isn't an issue. Bath towels, what's wrong with the old bath towels? Blankets & sheets? What's wrong with the ones we have? Often I hear the words "it's on sale"or "I have a coupon". So, I have decided that the next time I am looking at a gun to buy, when the wife asks, I am going to say "It was on sale" and "I had a coupon!"
