Ok I'm almost done I just need to make the A2 sight a tiny bit bigger because there's a groove in the barrel that's in the way. Handguard, delta ring, and the converter went on easily. I test fired it in my backyard and everything works (thankfully).

Yea because the housing,spring, and retaining ring go over it and allow you to put the handguard on. This is a good video I used as a reference when doing the delta ring portion of the project:

You also need a handguard end cap (get a round one) and a 10/24 x 1/2" screw. The end cap holds the front end of the handguard and the screw fastens the end cap to the A2 front sight base. Just drive the screw through the gas tube hole in the end cap and in to the gas tube hole in the sight base.

That screw that I said I found wasn't the right size actually so I just kinda mashed the a2 sight post against the handguard end cap. It's been working well so far and the handguard doesn't most up and down. I've been shooting a couple times maybe 100 or so rounds through it. I don't have an MOE handguard so I can't help you there sorry.
Yes, stilll need it with the MOE handguard. It is retained just like any standard M4 handguard. I have to take pictures of mine, but the end cap is fastened just like in my pictures with the quad rail gas block. A 10/24 screw will thread into the gas tube hole without requiring a tap. I suggest a socket head cap screw, the allen key won't strip the head as quickly as a phillips screwdriver.

Or.......they could work with one of our excellent vendors who makes free float adapters and put together a package with the adapter, delta ring assembly, barrel nut, handguard end cap, screw, front sight adjustment tool and front sight base tapped for the screw. That would be everything but the handguard. I think that the handguard should be left out due to individual preferences.
And I screwed it in like a screw, driving it with an allen driver. I love my Bondhus Gorilla Grips sets. I just keep losing the Torx set.

I think it would be cool to see these parts in a limited edition factory gun, but S&W would probably farm them out to China and then nobody would benefit.
