Grips Question

Just picked up a 1974 66 no dash. Has both combat grips (wood) and the big wide walnut grips. Both have the logo'd
S&W gold/bronze medallion in them. Took the combats off the gun and they have a very nice looking k recessed in them and a marker drawn #9. Nothing inside the others. Are they factory or fakes?

Your 66 no dash would have come w/ checkered target stocks. (I'm assuming your gun is a 4"er)
 
The correct grips for you 66 should be Goncalo Alves Football Targets rather than Walnut. Walnut would be a possibility I believe but only with a special order.

The first set pictured appear to be Goncalo Alves...:)
