MP Shot At Camp Shelby

Ain't love grand?

Boy I'll say. Back in the 80's I hung around a lot with a co-worker who was a good friend and one time we were over to his cousin's house where the word scissors kept getting dropped and everyone there thought it was funny. Must have been an inside joke I thought.

The next day at work I asked my friend what the scissors thing was all about. He said his cousin's wife had stabbed him (the cousin) twice with scissors while he was sleeping and made sure I understood that when he said twice, he meant it was on two separate occasions.

The next time we were over to the cousin's house my friend mentioned that I didn't believe the scissor stories so the cousin proudly pulled up his shirt and showed me his scars, while his wife, the one who did it, stood there smiling.

Every time I looked at the cousin after that I couldn't help but think, "What an idiot" and every time I looked at his wife I thought, "What does he see in her that makes him stay, and, more importantly, where's the scissors."

Her photo affords some insight as to why he was fooling around.

Just "SOME"?

Wow, that's some ugly.

Sure, the military will reprimand him. Or the Sheriff will press charges, and he'll go to trial, a jury trial. With any luck, he'd get some women on the jury, older, equally ugly, and married. No way they'd convict him for protecting his lovely wife.
