What are you listening to?

I've kinda thrown my big band kick temporarily and have been listening to to more bluegrass and "evolved" bluegrass...

I've discovered the Yonder Mountain String Band and like a lot of their stuff, and was listening to their "Old Hands" CD when I saw this thread.

If you like YMSB, you may also enjoy Leftover Salmon's style of "evolved" Bluegrass. 'Course there's nothing wrong with regular ol' Bluegrass.

Rhonda Vincent and Rage was in St Pete Saturday night, I'm still playing that in my mind.
When I turn on the TV or Radio non-stop that guy is a crook vote for me commercials.
I'm also partial to Rock-A-Billy too. Webb Wilder is up next for my CD player. Maybe after some SteelDrivers?

I must admit, this thread is still going, and I don't know if y'all remember back in 2010 when Winston Churchill and the RAF band were #4 on British pop charts? I ordered one of the CD's back then and was listening to it again tonight.

After this, I'm turning on my old Motorola with some classical 33's and hitting the sack. ;)

This is one of my favorites. I was floored the first time i ever saw it. The art work is great and the song and guitar work is beautiful. Enjoy.

And each time I hear that tune, I recall the exact scenes of the Miami Vice episode "Out Where The Busses Don't Run" One of the BEST episodes of the series.

Check out the 41 minute mark, if you haven't seen...PRICELES!

I like to turn on my old tube radios when I get home from work (1920s/1930s Zeniths) and listen to Nashville and the like. Statler Brothers on now, New York City.
