Looking at these dates I'm actually impressed they were able to keep the Shield under wraps as long as they did. They must have been setting up for some time and making the first batches in January - or even December? I think we only started seeing the rumor threads in March, looking at "something" coming out 4/12.

It looks like the oldest test-fired cases were 1/12/12 unless I missed a date.
